As of June 24th, 2022, Roe is over. But to be honest, Roe has been "over" for abortion funds, abortion clinics, and frontline organizers for a while. While all three branches of government spent the last half-century chipping away at our human rights and creating needless barriers to reproductive care, those of us on the ground began building our own abortion access ecosystem. We built friendships and connections with abortion providers, funders, and supporters across the nation—hell, even the globe!—so that we could take care of each other, even when our systems failed us.

And then, it did. And we were ready, because we know that abortion can't be taken away from us. It is yours, it is mine, it is ours—no matter how many laws they pass, we will always have abortions. We will always bend over backwards to help each other get abortions. We don't need them anymore: We have each other.
